Sunday School
Dear Parents, have you been teaching your children about Jesus…
“Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” – Mark 10.14
Jesus is speaking about his great love for children, who during his time were not given much importance in society. He wants the children to come to him, to know him; and today, he is instructing us to teach our children about him and to bring them closer to him.
Parents in today’s world lead very hectic lives and have busy schedules. Particularly, when both parents work to make ends meet, they find it difficult to spend quality time with their children, much less instruct them in the faith. A few families are blessed with grandparents and elders who could impart Christ’s teachings to the children.
Our church has Sunday School for children from Std. I to X, with 25 dedicated teachers volunteering to teach our children all that they need to know about Jesus. With our vibrant, enthusiastic and experienced priest Fr Gavin D’Souza at the helm, and several CTC-trained teachers, you can be assured that your children will receive the best knowledge about the Catholic faith, which will equip them for the challenges of life.
At Sunday School, we help our children know God through the study of his word, and to grow in a personal relationship with him.
So why are you still waiting? Give your children to us and we will bring out the best in them.
